Police have issued CCTV images of two suspects following a theft of cash from the Golden Sands Holiday Park in Dawlish Warren. The offenders entered the premises via a door to the bar and then entered the office where they stole £13,000 in cash from a safe. One offender is described as being a white man in his early to mid twenties, approximately 5’10” in height, slight to medium build. He has dark hair which was covered with a grey baseball cap. Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a large quantity of taps from a Newton Abbot scrap company.
The taps – valued at £70,000 – were taken from a scrap metal yard on Kingsteignton Road between 5pm and 9pm.
Police believe that a large red and white truck was used in the raid with possibly the occupants of a dark car and a small white panel van also involved.
