T'Pau, fronted by rockin' redhead Carol Decker, comes to the Public Hall in Budleigh Salterton on Sunday 9 June as part of their 28-day tour, marking the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough, quadruple platinum selling album Bridge of Spies . A fantastic evening of 80s nostalgia with Carol and her band performing classic hits such as China in Your Hand , Valentine , I Will Be With You , Heart and Soul as well as their favourite album tracks and 'B' sides.
Doors open at 6.30 with a 'real ale' bar and food available.
Fairport Convention, the band credited with inventing folk-rock, will appear at Exeter Corn Exchange on Friday 8th March.
Fairport were formed in 1967 and previous and past members read like a who’s who of British folk music with names such as Richard Thompson, Sandy Denny, Dave Swarbrick and Ashley Hutchings all having been part of the band.
The present line-up includes original band member Simon Nicol on guitar and lead vocals. Dave Pegg, who has been part of the band for 34 unbroken years, is on bass and backing vocals and Ric Saunders who joined the band in 1985 plays...

Fairport Convention, one of the most entertaining bands on the live music scene features Simon Nicol on guitar and lead vocals, Dave Pegg on bass and backing vocals, Chris Leslie on fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki and lead vocals, Ric Sanders on violin and Gerry Conway on drums and percussion.
The band has won a coveted BBC Lifetime Achievement Award and Radio 2 listeners voted Fairport's groundbreaking album Liege & Lief 'The Most Influential Folk Album of All Time'.
