As International Women's Day approaches, it's time to celebrate some of the incredible women who make music in Devon. Creative, Assertive and Diverse is the talent of our musical madams. And yet, year after year women struggle to top the bills at shows, events and festivals, with only 14% of acts beng female led at ALL major festivals in 2015. Now I dont know about you ... but theres something wrong with that picture.
We shall be holding our Ladies’ Networking Group Spring “Get together” at Marco’s, next to The Hampton by Hilton, Exeter Airport on Friday 18th March 2016.
As usual this will be an informal lunch for any Ladies’ networking groups so all are welcome. Please do pass on these details to anyone you think may be interested in coming along. Lunch will commence at 1.00 p.m. Please arrive between 12.00 p.m. and 12.30 p.m. at Marco’s. Marco’s have again offered us a superb menu which will be at £12 per person.

A group of women from Devon are planning the city’s largest gathering against sexual violence on the streets this autumn.
The Reclaim the Night events are designed to promote public awareness about the levels of violence and harassment experienced by women and girls on our streets. Two events are planned; a preparation day of creativity on Saturday 21st November and the March itself on Thursday 26th November.
