‘Logan’ sees Hugh Jackman reprising his role as the ever popular Wolverine, however this time his story takes a more gritty turn.

An old and worn out Logan lives in a dystopian future nursing a weakened Professor X, when the arrival of a child similar to himself forces him to come out of hiding.

Horror movie night at Exeter Cathedral

The magic of the movies comes to Exeter next week as the Cathedral prepares to host its first ever Silent Movie Night.

The special screening of 1920s horror classic Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde takes place on Wednesday 16th September, accompanied by a live soundtrack on the restored Cathedral Organ played by internationally-renowned organist David Briggs.

Filmmaker in Residence at the Exeter Phoenix and Founder of Puny Gods Pop Up Cinema, David Salas, needs your support for latest project - The Emotional History of Places - a film about the potential for important moments to occur in nondescript places.

To realise this film Salas needs both your stories, and crucially, your votes.

Big Screen in the Park returns

Exeter’s Northernhay Gardens will host Big Screen in the Park, which starts on Wednesday 13 August.

A different film for each of the four nights is played on a 10 metre wide screen in the picturesque Northernhay Gardens.

Along with the entertainment there are also several places to get a drink or something to eat. The Little Devon Pizza Co will be serving up delicious wood fired pizzas, Bar Belafronte will be offering specially selected craft beers and there will also be some homemade butter fudge popcorn on sale.
