This Saturday, 9th December 2017, the 501st UK Garrison Star Wars Costuming Club will be attendending a charity event in aid of Exeter Foodbank at John Lewis Exeter from 10.30am-4pm.

Exeter Round Table organise Exeter’s biggest and best fireworks display with this being their 36th annual event.

Pre sales tickets are available for only £16 for a family of four and can be purchased from many outlets in the Exeter area. As well as being the largest pyro-musical charity firework display in Devon, there is also a large fair with many thrilling rides, a range of food and drink stalls and ample free parking.

Ladies and gentlemen of Exeter, the Star Wars trailer has been released. If you go and see The Avengers: Age of Ultron next week then you will be able to see it on the big screen (A:AoU is showing at the Vue Cinema). Wendy Froud, best known as the creator of the iconic YODA from Star Wars, will be at the legendary Chagford Film Festival on Thursday 25th September teaching puppet-making as part of a unique Froud day.

A life-size model gorilla dressed as Darth Vader is about to go up for auction.

The iconic Star Wars baddie has been reborn as a full size gorilla standing on all fours, measuring 140cms tall, 120cms long and 60cms wide. He comes complete with helmet, cape, a glowing light sabre and a talking chest-plate.
