New coronavirus testing site opens in Exeter

A new walk-through coronavirus testing facility has opened for those with symptoms to book appointments at the University of Exeter, St Luke’s Campus College House, (EX2 4TH), in Exeter as part of the Government’s UK-wide drive to continue to improve the accessibility of coronavirus testing for local communities.

On Wednesday 11 November the new H145 helicopter was introduced into serviceand ready to bring emergency medical care to patients across Devon.

They are in need of people to join the local fundraising group, which organises community events and collections to help raise much needed funds. Food charity urgently needs volunteers

FoodCycle , the charity that fights food poverty and loneliness is in urgent need of volunteers in Bath , Bristol , Bristol Easton and Exeter . As an essential service, Foodcycle continues to be a lifeline to the local community during the current UK lockdown.

Councillors have supported a new transport strategy for Exeter which sets out ambitious plans to increase active travel, enhance public transport and improve air quality over the next ten years.
