Anyone for table tennis? People are going batty in the parish of East Budleigh with Bicton now they have their own outdoor table.
The new table has come about after developers who built two new homes in the parish gave £3,450 to fund a sports facility in the community, as part of a Section 106 legal agreement with East Devon District Council.

East Budleigh Village will be holding its annual Scarecrow Festival from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 June. There will be an entertaining and varied programme of events together with a fabulous display of scarecrows throughout the village.
The Village Hall will provide the main focus for the Festival. Bacon Baps, Cream Teas and hot and cold drinks will be served from 11am - 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday. East Devon District Council’s Countryside team will be holiding their final tree walk on Monday 30 June at 6.30pm at East Budleigh, looking at local trees of interest and discussing the part they play in the community.
