Devon residents can now buy a range of low cost, safety-checked, TVs and other electrical products from a number of the county’s Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs)
The scheme is being run by SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK Ltd, who operate the HWRCs for Devon County Council. A range of electrical products is now on offer, including vacuum cleaners, lamps and Flat screen TVs.

Proud to Care Devon has successfully secured £3.45million of European funding to help Devon’s health and care workers develop new skills and to encourage others to join the profession. South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) is urging people to ‘Make the right call’ this winter by only calling 999 for life-threatening emergencies.
The Trust is expecting a significant increase in 999 calls over the Christmas period and beyond, due to the ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic alongside normal winter pressures.
