An 80 year old friend insisted on a journey from Madrid to Exeter via Bristol airport, arriving in Exeter at 4 am today. A taxi was booked for her, but she needed to get to it across the road. Unbidden, an employee at the bus station asked her how she was getting home and escorted her and her luggage across to the waiting Gemini taxi. Yes, I know that is what should happen - but well done to the often maligned bus station staff for looking after her so well.

The Exeter branch of the Progressive Christianity Network invite you, religious or not, to an evening with Dave Tomlinson, C of E priest and author of the new book: How to be a Bad Christian . Dave will speak on the theme: 'Religion without the rules'. He founded 'Holy Joe's' a church in a pub, so why has he now decided to join the institution? Come and find out! Free event; donations will be invited.
