Take a voyage of discovery along the River Axe with new Canoe Safari events being held this summer by East Devon District Council's Countryside team.

Qualified instructors from the Axe Vale Canoe Club lead the guided trips, along with our Countryside rangers, who will share their knowledge of the river's wildlife.

To complete the perfect summer evening experience, there will be a riverside picnic included after the safari.

The next Canoe Safari will be on Monday 29 June between 6pm and 9pm. Participants should be aged eight or over, and be able to swim 25 metres.
