Enjoy an illuminated spectacle and celebrate the spirit of Christmas with Carols by Candlelight at The Donkey Sanctuary on Friday 9 December.

When:  Friday 9 December, staff will begin to light the thousands of candles around the Sanctuary from 3:30pm with the 45 minute Christmas carol service starting at 5:00pm.

Get into the festive spirit with a magical, candlelit carol service at The Donkey Sanctuary. Staff will begin to light thousands of candles around the Sanctuary from 3:30pm, creating an illuminated spectacle. A carol service led by Reverend Stephen Knight and accompanied by local saxophonist group, Saxminster, will then commence at 5pm on Main Yard.

Father Christmas will be visiting the Sanctuary from 4.30pm and there will be a nativity scene whilst the carol service is taking place. Festive treats and warming light bites, such as mince pies, Chunks turkey and cranberry pasties, soup and mulled wine will be available until 7pm in the Hayloft Restaurant.
