Philip Clayton and Chris Prindl exhibition
Philip Clayton
Since graduating from Central St. Martins, Philip Clayton has combined his painting life with a career in art education. His work concentrates on recording the environment, especially landscape, using the medium of oil paint ‘en plein-air’. This exhibition will feature scenes from London, France and Devon.
Chris Prindl
Chris Prindl started making pots in 1987 with Toshiko Takaezu while at Princeton University. After graduating he went to Japan as an apprentice to Takao Okazaki in Yamagata. It was here he honed the skills to express his Japanese sensitivity with clay and where he first learnt the techniques of firing with wood.
