Exeter entrepreneur launches protein infused water range
Exeter entrepreneur and former sportsman, Henry Western, has launched Protein Water Co (www.proteinwater.co), an innovative British brand that produces the UK’s first and only completely natural protein infused waters.
The Protein Water Co range has two unique product lines: Muscle Maintenance and Skin Maintenance, both delivering a mighty protein hit to support the whole body, from the skin, hair and nails to the maintenance of bones, muscles, cartilage and blood.
The brand has launched nationwide through a deal to supply Boots with all three editions of its Muscle Maintenance line and is in further talks with other national retailers.
Company Founder Western had a previous career in motocross. He started racing in Exeter at nine years old and raced professionally from the age of 18 to 24. With a keen interest in sports, health and nutrition, Western founded Protein Water Co at his home in Exeter after being frustrated with the lack of functional and naturally low-sugar soft drink options available on-the-go.
As a health conscious but time-poor sportsman, Western knew the benefits of adding extra protein into the diet and wanted to create a product that would make it easily available to everyone.
