Overnight closure of Bridge Road on Thursday 19 October

Bridge Road in Exeter will be closed overnight on Thursday (19 October).

The road will be closed overnight from 8:30pm and will re-open at 5:30am the following morning (Friday 20 October).

The closures will enable work on the mast arm for the pedestrian crossing at Glasshouse Lane to be completed.

The diversion route will be signed via Topsham Road, Alphington Road, Marsh Barton and the A379. Details of the diversion route are available here.

Details of changes to Stagecoach bus services will be available at https://www.stagecoachbus.com/regional-service-updates/south-west/greate...

Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to access Bridge Road during the closures via local temporary diversions. They are advised to take care and follow the site signage and any instructions from site staff.

Further updates will be posted on the Bridge Road Widening Scheme website where you can sign up for alerts.
