Everys Solicitors reward top fundraiser

Everys Solicitors in Exmouth has presented a cheque for £500 to the Ladies’ Starlight Walk top fundraiser.

By May 31, Helen Stoneman, from Cullompton, Devon, had raised £1,922.50 for Hospiscare following the 12km walk on May 10.

Her team, Anything But The Book, collectively hope to raise £5,000. Mrs Stoneman has boosted their total further by donating her prize money to Hospiscare.

Everys partner Kim Stradling and Katie Cuthbert, Hospiscare’s head of fundraising, presented Mrs Stoneman with her prize.

Ms Stradling said: “Everys congratulates Helen on her achievement for not only completing the Starlight Walk but also raising so much money for Hospiscare. We commend Helen for her generous donation to charity that does so much to support people with terminal illnesses in Exeter, mid and east Devon.”
