There is something for everyone to enjoy this November at Knightshayes Court near Tiverton. From a fresh wintery stroll through the spectacular woodland garden or a tasty hot soup in the Stables Restaurant to three unique festive shopping opportunities.

From the 1 of November up until the end of February, dogs with well-behaved owners are welcome to explore the formal gardens. Alternatively, they can take a stroll in the tranquil, frosty parkland that heads down from the house to a secluded pond.

Crunching their way around the mature trees, both furry and human visitors can take in the sights of the coloured birches,  red and yellow cornus, the giant redwood and one of Europe’s largest Turkey Oaks while breathing in the stunning scents of Wintersweets, also known as ice flower.

On the way back, visitors can warm up in the toasty Sables Restaurant, where the menu is made from Knightshayes’ own kitchen garden produce and locally coursed meats. Full carveries are available every Sunday from the 6 November.

November is also the time to do a bit of Christmas shopping. As well as a well-stocked gift shop, there are three festive fairs providing high quality, locally sourced gifts that can’t be found on the high street. These are:

Food and Drink Fair - 12-13 November
Craft and Gift Fair - 18-20 November
Toys, Trains and Tinsel Fair - 27 November

All the fairs run from 10am until 4pm and are free to enter. Normal admission applies to the house and gardens.
