Luke Friend phones lucky fans

Five Friendies have now won the chance to meet X factor legend, Luke Friend, face to face this Friday.

The competition winners received the news from Luke himself  in a phonecall from his Teignmouth home this afternoon.

Luke, his mum Sue and his dog Gizmo met with Oli Justice from The Exeter Daily to congratulate the winners.

Winners were thrilled and several were left speechless with excitement.

A video of the Luke phoning the winners will be available shortly.

Hundreds of fans entered the competition to meet Luke before five lucky winners were randomly selected.

The lucky fans will meet Luke at the exclusive “Audience with Luke Friend” hosted by The Exeter Daily at the Exeter Phoenix on Friday (10 January).
