Thai restaurant opening in Tiverton

Rod and Tiwa Honour (pictured) are opening a new Thai restaurant in Tiverton.

Thai Home Catering, Bistro and Takeaway at 23 Gold Street will be open on Friday (14 February), and already has tables booked. 

The bistro, which can seat up to 32 people, was previously a newsagents. It has been transformed over the last few weeks and is decorated with wallpaper specially sent over from Thailand.

Tiwa designed the menu which includes 66 traditional Thai dishes, all of which are illustrated, so everyone knows just what they are ordering. There is also a selection of popular British meals on the menu as well as Thai sweets and smoothies, and coffee made from imported Thai coffee beans.

Tiwa was born in Thailand, and came to the UK when she married Rod. The couple regularly visit her homeland.
