Ceramic artist Neil Johnson opens his studio in Heavitree on the weekend of 1st and 2nd December.

Neil has been making handmade thrown stoneware pottery since the 1970's and his work includes domestic ware such as jugs, casseroles, mugs, and bowls and more decorative one-off pieces, ideal for unique Christmas gifts. His latest spotty design is one of his most popular ranges, but he also makes more traditional style pieces.

Anyone is free to pop in on Sat between 10am and 6pm and Sun between 10am and 5pm. Have a browse, watch the artist at work and have a mince pie, all while avoiding the hassle of going in to the high street to find that special present.

Feel free to look at his website to see the kinds of pottery he produces. He really hopes to see you there.
