Exeter Market trader gives back to the community

True to the sentiment that Christmas is the season of giving, generous traders of the Exeter Christmas Market have spared more than just a thought for the local community. Traders competed for the ‘Best Dressed Stall’ award for the opportunity to win the coveted title, and a sum of prize money to spend on loved ones this Christmas. 

Market trader and philanthropist Richard Nijboer came in third for his picturesque chalet and kindly donated his £100 prize money to the local charity, Hospiscare of Devon. Delighted with Richard's generosity, representatives from Hospiscare came down to the market to collect the prize money and thank Richard personally.
