Body found in search for missing Exeter man
A body has been found in the search for missing 24-year-old Dex Johnston.
Police search teams located the body of a man in Exeter Quay this afternoon (1 June).
In a statement Devon and Cornwall Police said: "At approximately 1:40pm today (1st June), police search teams located the body of a man in Exeter Quay.
“Cordons are in place in the area as recovery continues. Whilst at this time we are not in a position to confirm the identity of the body, the family of missing 24-year-old Exeter man Dex Johnston have been informed of this development.”
Dex was last seen at Exe Bridge in Exeter near Alphington Road just after 1am on Sunday 28 May.
He is described at 5'8'' tall, medium build with short dark hair and a full beard. He was wearing white t-shirt with large black motif, khaki shorts and dark vans footwear.
