Contractor appointed by Vospers for £10m car dealership in Exeter

Leeds-based specialist, APP Construction has been appointed by Vospers, the family-owned, Plymouth-based car dealer group, to deliver a £10m multi-franchise car dealership facility in Exeter.

The 45,000sq ft. site is the largest at the recently opened Matford Green Business Park and will include sales showrooms and service facilities for Mazda, Jeep, Fiat and Alfa Romeo. It will also include a FordStore, one of only 60 concept stores in the UK. This new showroom is uniquely designed to showcase Ford’s most desirable products including Mustang, RS and Vignale and will also include a dedicated Transit Centre.

APP Construction director John White said: “We are pleased to have been appointed by Vospers to deliver this important retail site in the South West. It represents a significant local investment and we are proud to have been entrusted with building these high-quality, prestige facilities.

APP’s experience and attention to detail will ensure Vospers have outstanding facilities in Exeter.  We already have our expert team at Matford Green and will be working with local contractors and specialists to deliver this exciting project during 2018.”

The project team also includes architect Dawson Williamson, structural engineers LB Design, and employers’ agent Dickson Powell Partnership.
