Exeter youngster is runner-up in UK film award competition

Jimmy Stevens, just 11 years of age, who lives in Exeter, was the runner-up in the United Kingdom Aquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) Short Film Award.

Announced last month, the Award, which is sponsored by Elysium Healthcare, is worth £250.

The lighthearted and entertaining film produced by Jimmy highlights the impact of his brain injury, and the difficulties of coming to terms with a new way of life.

Many opportunities to learn about birds with the Countryside team this year

Throughout the coming year, there are a number of events taking place at Seaton Wetlands to help you learn more about birds.

Experian report highlights PKF-Francis Clark as most active deal advisor

The latest annual figures from Experian the market insight platform show that UK deal volumes decreased slightly in 2017, the first fall in volumes shown since 2008. There were signs in early 2017 that volumes were picking up, only to see a reversal in later months with the slow down starting in mid-2016 following the Referendum.

Data from other sources indicates that this fall is mainly attributable to deals involving foreign companies as either buyer, vendor or investor. UK deal volumes look to have increased which perhaps surprisingly supports higher confidence levels about...

Steenson signs new deal at Chiefs

Gareth Steenson has spoken of his delight after putting pen to paper on a new two-year deal with the Exeter Chiefs.
