Police appeal after serious assault in Exeter pub

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Exeter on Saturday 25 November 2017.

The incident happened on the Western Way Inner Bypass at around 3.20am by The Kingfisher pub.

A male offender, known to the two victims, allegedly assaulted them with a bladed article causing injury to the arm and the shoulder. The victims received minor injuries.

A 20-year-old man from Exeter was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Thieves steal Devon woman's home

Police are urgently seeking information following the theft of a home in Willand, near Cullompton.

The incident happened between 6pm on Wednesday 22 November and 6am on Thursday 23 November 2017 at The Yard on Willand Road, Cullompton.

Thieves entered a yard and loaded the 40ft static caravan on to a flat trailer and removed it from the yard.

The victim, a local woman, was not present at the time of the offence and is now without a home. Pictures of the park home are attached. The serial number is SA11.049221E.

On Monday 27th November, Premiership Rugby star and Ex QE Student, Jack Yeandle came back to Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton to deliver a Rugby Masterclass.

As part of QE’s afterschool Rugby Club, Jack led the session with QE’s Rugby stars of the future. Jack also reminisced about the start of his Rugby playing career representing QE.
