London Concertante, one of the nation’s top chamber ensembles, is delighted to announce a special candlelit performance featuring the timeless music of the James Bond films. Taking place on 13th March 2025 in Exeter Cathedral, Bond by Candlelight promises a stirring tribute to 007’s most renowned theme songs and scores.
The orchestra will be joined by stars of the vocal world performing a smash-hit show performing iconic Bond themes, from “Diamonds Are Forever” and “Skyfall” to “No Time to Die” and “From Russia with Love”, alongside many more timeless classics.
Last week, Sapphire Living hosted a glamorous evening of canapés and cocktails for its Bond-themed Night, including cars fit for 007 himself from Grange Aston Martin Exeter, not to mention exotic food demonstrations from co-author of the River Cottage Fish Book , Nick Fisher. Both Bang & Olufsen and SingleSwitch were on hand with some gadgets and home automation systems to give Q a run for his money. The successful event attracted approximately 60 people.
Last night cinemas across the country filled for the first night of the latest James Bond film “Skyfall”. Being a big James Bond fan since I was introduced to the films as a young boy by my Grandad, I booked ahead for me and seven members of my family to watch the film on the opening night. I can safely say none of us were disappointed and the “WOW” factor was high throughout.
