Cumberland Grange care home in Exeter recently took on the challenge of completing 100 laps of the garden all in aid of Age UK here in Exeter. Residents, staff, family members and the community all dressed up for the occasion in fancy dress before setting off and doing as many laps as possible.
There was live music, a smoothie station, a sangria station and a cake station to keep everyone well hydrated and fed. The 100 laps were successfully completed with all residents receiving a medal at the end.

Cumberland Grange Care Home in Exeter have recently teamed up with Luscombe Drinks in Devon to put together some wonderful hampers for Silver Sunday which took place on Sunday 2nd of October.
Silver Sunday is a National Day which aims to combat loneliness and isolation in local communities. There are many things which people of all generations can do by coming together to offer support and company as well as by hosting fun and free activities for older people.

Banners created by people living with dementia who worked with a trio of well-known artists will be on display in Exeter until the end of March.
The banners, including one developed by members of Age UK Exeter’s Budding Friends group, are on show as a special exhibit in Exeter Library.
