Two of the top teams in Devon have joined forces ahead of the new Premiership Rugby season.

Ashfords LLP has signed sponsorship deals with four Exeter Chiefs players as the side gears up for another exciting campaign.

Ashfords LLP bucks trend to top league table

South West law firm Ashfords is topping the table for completed deals in the first half of 2013. The firm bucked the trend as the market experienced a year-on-year decline in volumes.

Research by Experian revealed that Ashfords was the most successful law firm in the whole of the South West for completing deals so far this year.

This pack of rugby "wives" are more used to their more illustrious other halves hogging all the attention, particularly from avid fans.

But the women, whose husbands all play for the top-flight Exeter Chiefs, stepped out of the shadows and into the limelight to promote a charity event.

Ashfords staff complete five-day cycle marathon for charity

Scores of Ashfords' solicitors swapped their briefs for cycling shorts to support a five-day cycling marathon in aid of their chosen charity, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust. More than 120 members of staff took part in a cyclathon on static bikes and managed to achieve a total of 1,678 miles between them - the equivalent of cycling from Exeter to Casablanca!
