Record number of businesses join Plymouth Science Park

RECORD numbers of businesses have joined the Plymouth Science Park over the past three months.

Since June, 15 new businesses have relocated to the 25 acre site near Derriford Hospital which specialises in supporting businesses in the areas of science, technology, marine and digital.

New research by global workplace provider Regus has revealed that a fifth of businesses in Exeter are planning to hire more returning mothers than they did a year ago. These latest findings are based on a survey of local business owners and senior managers.

Countdown to auto enrolment begins

The automatic enrolment countdown for thousands of small and micro businesses across the South West has begun and The Pensions Regulator is calling on employers to act now.

The law has changed so that around 115,000 employers across the South West will have to meet their new pensions duties.

New-look board for swcomms

South West Communications Group has made some changes to its board of directors with Brian Lodge becoming the new group managing director.
