Our show is aimed at bringing owners' cherished cars and steam engines together and showing them off to the public.

There will be plenty of refreshments, BBQ and Bar, bouncy castles, vintage games, animals to see, craft stalls and face painting,. as well as los more.

Bring along your deckchairs for some fun in the sun!!

Charity urges car buyers to put safety first

Brake, the road safety charity, is encouraging drivers – especially the young – to put safety first when it comes to buying a new vehicle.

Police warning after spate of thefts from vehicles in Exeter

Police in Exeter are advising residents to be vigilant following a spate of theft from vehicles.

A number of vehicles have been entered having been left unlocked or entered by unknown means without causing damage, and property stolen.

Residents are asked to be alert to unusual people in their area, to keep all vehicles locked, keep valuables out of sight and to report all suspicious activity to the police.

Driving is a risky activity; it requires our full attention at all times.

This week is Road Safety week (8-14 June) Fire and Rescue Services across the UK are coming together to raise awareness of the dangers to young drivers of driving and being distracted.

Although driving and distraction is a significant risk to all drivers, if combined with the inexperience of a newly-qualified driver it becomes an even more deadly cocktail.

The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth is looking for proud owners to show off their cherished motors at its first ever annual Car Show this July.

There will be competitions for modern and vintage cars with categories including ‘Show and Shine’ and ‘Best in Show’.

Fabulous prizes include top ‘detailing’ kits kindly sponsored by Servo Engineering, Exeter.

Visitors can enter a free raffle to win a pressure washer and a range of cleaning products.

Tesla has opened a new supercharger station at Sainsbury’s supermarket in Exeter.

The Pinhoe Road store is one of three Sainsbury’s stores in the South of England to install Tesla superchargers.

These latest additions to the network are part of a rapid expansion that will soon allow Model S owners to drive anywhere in the country.

Parking deal is 'shop of the pops'

Shoppers in East Devon are being offered a special all-day winter parking deal by East Devon District Council in all its car parks until the 28 February 2015.

Any £2 ticket purchased after 10am can be used in any East Devon District Council pay and display car park for the rest of the day (excluding Parkmobile payments). 

The ticket will show the £2 payment, as well as the length of time for which the ticket would usually be valid. Although the winter parking offer extends to the whole day, it won't be printed on the ticket.
