Tickets to a new family friendly music festival in East Devon are selling fast.
The Altitude Village Festival, which takes place in Blackborough on the weekend of May 20 and 21, will see performances by high profile local and regional bands, including Sound of the Sirens, Bristol reggae band Talisman and Mark Morriss of The Bluetones.
As well as music, there will be children’s entertainment, crafts, and a huge range of street food and drink. The event is being held to raise funds for local charities, including Blackborough Village Hall.
Lots and lots of lovely arts crafts and gifts - all hand made by local makers.
There will also be a free family Easter Egg hunt, spinning and weaving demonstrations, face paitning and Devon Fudge and live music by two of Exeter's best street musicians.
Come along and enjoy the serendipity of our lovely and historic quayside.

Local brain injury charity Headway Devon's popular craft fair and coffee morning returns on Saturday 23rd April. Taking place in the beautiful XCentre, just a stone’s throw from Exeter’s historic Quayside, this event combines a wide range of stalls from talented local sellers with delectable treats in one of Exeter’s most beautiful spaces.
The event will take place at the XCentre on Commercial Road from 11am-3pm and entry is free.

Come and take part in our Tudor crafts! Make a Tudor Rose collage, a gruesome be-headable puppet, or become a Tudor character by creating a portrait and making your own ruff.

Exeter’s newest community centre, The Beacon, is holding its first public event this Saturday 5 December – a Christmas fair.
Come along between 1pm and 3pm and see all the months of hard work that the Beacon Vollies (you’d call them volunteers) have put in. They have sorted, cleaned, painted and even put up a new ceiling at The Beacon, which was formerly the Knight Club in Beacon Lane.
They have created a warm, light welcoming space to hold community events, private functions, meetings and already a number of local organsiatons...
