Professionals raise money for Deaf Academy

Local Wealth Management Company Brewin Dolphin Exeter hands over a cheque for £2,500 to its first ever Charity of the Year, Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education. The funds raised through a series of events over the last 12 months are being earmarked for new outdoor play equipment for primary-age students when the charity moves to its new Exeter site.

Exeter Deaf Academy Get Set To Make A Change

Six students from Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education will be getting involved in the “Get Set to Make a Change” initiative managed by the British Olympic Association and the British Paralympic Association.

Six students attended a roadshow yesterday (28 November) where they met both an Olympian and Paralympian. They will also learn how to plan, organise and deliver community projects and events inspired by the Olympic and Paralympic Games

Children In Need Fundraising Total Announced

After the cosy day on Friday spent in our pyjamas, the total we raised is in, £110.55! Thanks to all who ate cake, had their hair done, played ping pong and guessed the baby photos. Our staff were once so adorable weren’t they?
