Christmas jumper sales reach record limits as charity shop launches its festive collection in Heavitree!

Christmas has officially arrived at Devon Air Ambulances’ (DAA) Heavitree shop today with the team working hard to showcase their stock of over 300 preloved Christmas jumpers and other festive bric-a-brac.

On the shops' Facebook page , the team, managed by Paul, have been building the excitement for the launch of Christmas stock by posting a series of videos counting down to Monday 16th October. The shop has an unbeatable range of Christmas stock including jumpers, dresses, and T-shirts, in both adult and kids' sizes.

Exeter Round Table’s annual firework extravaganza returns for its 40th anniversary, in support of Devon Air Ambulance.

This year, the spectacular pyrotechnical display will be synchronised to the music from the Greatest Showman when it returns to Westpoint Arena on Saturday 4th November.

Devon Air Ambulance’s clinical aircrew are to take part in a 37-mile challenge to help raise awareness of the charity and raise much-needed funds to help keep them responding.

Nearly 300 landings at Exeter hospital’s new helipad

On 1 March 2023, it will be three years since a state-of-the-art helipad opened at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, thanks to a £1million donation from the HELP Appeal. Since 2020, it has seen 283 landings from air ambulance helicopters, which is on average, nearly two landings every week.
