Canon Anna Norman-Walker has become the first woman to work full-time as a Canon at Exeter Cathedral in its 900 year history.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Morley Petherick who has been missing from his home in Ashburton since Sunday.

Morley (pictured) who is aged 25 years is described as being a white man 5’7” in height, slim build, with dark short hair and facial stubble.

Two senior community nurses who oversee the Exeter area have been awarded the title of Queen’s Nurse.

Sarah Garnsworthy and Jane Watson are both senior nurses for community nursing for the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.

Devon and Cornwall Police has today, Wednesday, November 26, 2014, signed a landmark contract with BT for the provision of IT infrastructure and support services to the Force.

Chief Constable Shaun Sawyer today signed the agreement with BT Global Services president of Global Government and Health, Ian Dalton. The contract will see BT provide both support for and development of IT services for the next five years – with the option to extend to nine years.
