EXETER CITY's immaculate away run continued as goals from Ollie Watkins and Jake Taylor saw off Yeovil Town at Huish Park.

City made three changes for this one, with Jordan Moore-Taylor back in the starting line-up and taking the captain's armband once again. Stockley happy to stay with Exeter City

Exeter City striker Jayden Stockley has revealed he would be happy to remain at the club after his current loan deal expires at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old has had multiple temporary spells in his short career with clubs such as; Portsmouth, Torquay United, Luton Town and Cambridge United, whilst his parent club Bournemouth have risen to the wonders of the Premier League.

But Stockley is keen to play consistent football, something he has found with Paul Tisdales Grecians in League Two.

12 arrested during Exeter v Plymouth derby

Devon and Cornwall Police arrested twelve people for a variety of offences connected to the Exeter City versus Plymouth Argyle football match this weekend (Saturday 2nd April).

One man has been charged with breaching the public order act, two men received cautions and a further nine men have been bailed pending further enquiries and will be attending Heavitree Station at a later date.

OLLIE WATKINS’ brace in the final ten minutes secured Exeter City a league double over Plymouth Argyle at St James Park.

Devon and Cornwall have arrested 11 people for a variety of offences related to the Exeter City versus Plymouth Argyle football match.

Chief Inspector Richard Hooper-Bennett said: “Overall for a crowd of about 8,000 people this is a very small number of people that have been arrested. I would like to thank the vast majority of fans who have enjoyed a Devon Derby played in the sunshine.”

Police have stated that those arrested for football related disorder were at risk of having football banning orders applied to them in addition to any court disposals.

Devon and Cornwall Police have been planning for the big Devon derby as promotion chasing Plymouth Argyle arrive at play-off chasing Exeter with everything to play for.

Chief Inspector Richard Hooper-Bennett from the Operations Planning unit, said: “We have worked closely with both Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City Football Club to help ensure a smooth Devon derby this weekend.

"We are expecting a bumper crowd, and as a Force we are experienced in policing large scale sporting events such as this. We are looking forward to what should be a great occasion.”

Grecians go four wins in a row on the road

Goals from Jake Taylor and Ollie Watkins made it four away wins on the spin and seven unbeaten for Exeter City as the Grecians battled to a 2-0 victory over Crawley Town at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.

Taylor’s goal in the twenty-eighth minute was the least that City had deserved after a rampant first-half display. The hosts came stronger in the second period with Bobby Olejnik called into action several times, but the Grecians weathered the storm before Watkins sealed the points with sixteen minutes remaining.

JAYDEN STOCKLEY'S eighth goal in the red and white was cancelled out by a Curtis Weston header as Exeter City drew 1-1 with Barnet at St James Park.

EXETER CITY were pegged-back twice by Carlisle United during an eventful 2-2 draw at St James Park.

Loanee striker Jayden Stockley had given City an early lead in the seventh minute, before the Grecians’ early momentum was disrupted as a fire-scare in the Stagecoach Stand saw the game suspended for just over an hour.
