Following the success of last year’s inaugural festival, Taste East Devon is delighted to announce its 2022 food festival is to run from 3-18th September, extending into a 16 day celebration.
Award-winning venues, producers, chefs and restaurants across East Devon have joined forces again to celebrate the incredible food and drink on offer across the region. Founder Members include THE PIG-at Combe, Darts Farm, Otter Brewery, Deer Park Country House, River Cottage, East Devon AONB, Donkey Sanctuary, Mazzard Farm, Jack in the Green and Lympstone Manor.

Families are invited to get stuck in at Lower Halsdon Farm, near Exmouth, on Sunday 27 September. From 10am until 3pm, children will be given the chance to connect with nature and the outdoors as work on hedge-centric tasks including cutting back and laying with loppers and saws. As well as learning new skills, they will build confidence and explore aspects of countryside management in an informal and relaxed way. Tractor Ted, the well-known children’s character, will be making his first ever appearance at Exeter’s family day on Tuesday, April 15.
As well as Tractor Ted and his bouncy castle, children will be given the opportunity to get to know horse racing when a host of activities including a behind the scenes tour, a running race down the home straight plus the ever popular question and answer and autograph session with top jockeys.
