Garden centre to transform outdoor space in Sidmouth

Over the coming weeks, Sidmouth, a Wyevale Garden Centre, will be giving something back to the local community by transforming the outdoor space of a Sidmouth organisation, as voted by the public. Until Sunday 19th June, visitors to the centre will be able to vote for their favourite nominee by placing a plant bulb – available at the tills - in the box of their choice. Bradninch excavation: Police confirm 'nothing of significance' found

Police investigating the garden at the former home of a paedophile couple, who knew serial killers Fred and Rose West, have confirmed that nothing of significance has been found and the investigation is now complete.

Excavations began on Tuesday (3 May) in the rear garden of a bungalow in Bradnich, near Cullompton, following historic intelligence linked to the former occupants of the council-owned property, David and Pauline Williams.

Police continue to dig for clues at home of serial killer Fred West's friends

Police are continuing to investigate the garden at the former home of a paedophile couple, who knew serial killers Fred and Rose West.

Excavations began on Tuesday 3 May in the rear garden of a bungalow in Bradnich, near Cullompton, following historic intelligence linked to the former occupants of the council-owned property, David and Pauline Williams.

Investigations are continuing today and are expected to last until Friday 6 May at the earliest.

David Williams was jailed for life in 2015 and his wife Pauline for 12 years for putting 10 girls and boys through rape...

Exeter’s St James’ Park Station platform garden now has lavender, rosemary, thyme and wildflowers to encourage bees and butterflies and make the station more attractive for rail passengers on the Avocet Line from Exeter to Exmouth.

This is thanks to the joint efforts of Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership, Great Western Railway, the Avocet Line Rail Users Group, Devon Wildlife Trust, St Sidwell’s CE Primary School and Exeter City Football Club Senior Reds over two recent planting days.
