The fifth Tiverton Balloon and Music Festival takes place from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th July 2015 at Petroc College/Tiverton Campus on Bolham Road, Tiverton, in Devon.
Line-up This year the Tiverton Balloon & MUSIC Festival will be showcasing acts across it's 2 Music Stages - The Main Stage and Origin Stage. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2015.
Plus a Comedy Stage, Workshops provided by staff and students from both Petroc College and Tiverton High School, poetry and story readings, diverse catering and an eclectic mix of other attractions.
This year sees the tenth anniversary of Exeter’s Swedish St Lucia Procession, a traditional Scandinavian midwinter celebration of light and song first brought to the city by local folk singer Rosa Rebecka from her homeland of Sweden in 2004.
In the decade since, the celebration has grown from strength to strength, with Rosa’s Scandinavian choir, ExeSwedes, and friends singing traditional Sankta Lucia songs in pubs, theatres, churches, and even Exeter cathedral.

A workplace choir from a leading local law firm has performed its first concert to a packed audience of colleagues, family and clients. The Rolling Scowns – a 24 piece choir from law firm Stephens Scown LLP in Exeter – performed a selection of 11 songs at a concert held at St Stephens Church, Exeter. The Rolling Scowns’s repertoire included “Let it Be”, “Black Horse and Cherry Tree” and “Merry Christmas Everyone”. The evening also saw a performance by established local choir, Bel Canto. On Saturday 6th december, the Queen's Head will be hosting the ever increasingly popular New Heroes. The performance will include a wide variety of music from classic rock to modern pop. The band starts at 9pm, but early arrival is recommended to avoid any disappointment as we are expecting a capacity crowd.
Featuring well-loved numbers from Messiah, Carmina Burana, opera and folk, all rounded off by a selection of Christmas carols which we hope you will enjoy singing with us.
