Princesshay security team are challenging themselves to complete a 70 mile walk in 24 hours, whilst raising funds for its charity of the year, FORCE Cancer Charity.
On Thursday 12th July, the security team will start their venture in Dorchester via Abbotsbury, then through to West Bay, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Exmouth, before reaching Princesshay as their final destination. The team are taking part in The Maddox Challenge in memory of a former colleague Paul Maddox, based at another site, who recently lost his battle with cancer.
Live outdoor screenings of Wimbledon matches on a giant screen will take place in Princesshay Square for the duration of the legendary two-week tournament (Monday 2nd July – Sunday 15th July).
Princesshay will also provide deckchairs, bean bags and a temporary lawn for visitors to enjoy while watching the matches free of charge.
Summer games, including giant jenga, noughts and crosses and connect 4 will be set up daily for families to enjoy. Visitors can sit and enjoy prime court matches from 1pm, with the finals days starting at 2pm.
Princesshay has launched its charity car raffle to raise vital funds for its charity of the year, FORCE Cancer Charity, based in Exeter. Visitors to Princesshay will be able to purchase a raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning a Toyota Aygo XPlay worth more than £10,500.

Princesshay has announced a free community event to celebrate the arrival of spring in the city. The Hello Spring event on Friday 6th April will feature spectacular street entertainment, a vintage carousel, live music and a style and beauty area. The event, which runs from 11-3pm, will see a large interactive art installation, Pentagon, go up in the main square. FORCE Cancer Charity is all set to launch a new partnership with one of Exeter’s most iconic shopping and dining destinations.
FORCE has been chosen as Princesshay’s Charity of the Year for 2018.
The new link will be launched on Thursday February 1 when FORCE will be in Princesshay to promote the work that it does to support anyone locally affected by cancer.

Princesshay has announced it has raised more than £17,000 for its charity of the year, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
