Dust off the Speedos – the call is out for people to take to the water for the annual Topsham-Turf swim organised by the Estuary League of Friends.
This year’s event takes place on Saturday 17 August and covers the traditional mile-and-a-half course from Topsham Sailing Club to the Turf Hotel.
It is now eight years since the swim – a long-standing event in Topsham – was revived by Topsham ferryman Mike Stevens. Since 2005 it has been organised by Estuary League of Friends and now has support from Michelmores Solicitors.
