Police appeal for witnesses after sexual assaults in Exeter and Topsham

Police investigating reports of rape on Monday 17 October in Exeter and Topsham are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

The incidents happened in the area of Musgrave Row, Exeter, and the car park behind Topsham Fire Station between 2am and 5am.

DI Tanya Youngs said: “The female victim is being supported by specially trained officers at this time while enquiries are continuing.

“We are currently appealing for witnesses and would ask anyone with information which may assist police to contact us.

Students from the Hindu, Asian and Indian Societies at the University of Exeter are welcoming fellow students, families and local residents and communities to celebrate Diwali at the University’s Streatham Campus on Sunday 23rd October.

Families can go on an exciting minibeast safari at a special fun event which puts Exeter’s urban ecosystems under the microscope.

A leading housing association is set to build more than 2,000 affordable homes in Devon over the next five years as part of a £1billion investment in the regional economy.

As the largest housing provider in the South West, LiveWest has more than 15,000 homes in Devon and currently owns more than 39,000 homes across the South West.

LiveWest has stepped up its investment in the county over the past year after building 280 affordable homes made up of 98 for affordable rent, 67 for social rent and 115 for shared ownership.
