A leading Devon law firm has jumped up the rankings for the Top 100 Trade Mark Filers of 2018-2019 to become the highest ranking firm headquartered in Devon and Cornwall on the list.
Stephens Scown LLP’s intellectual property (IP) team has risen to 64th in the top 100 UK trade mark filers with over 120 trade marks filed last year, and 58th in the top 100 EU trade mark filers with over 100 EU trade marks in the EU last year. The rankings for the Top Trade Mark Filers are presented annually by CITMA, the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.

Work has started today (Saturday) on temporary measures to boost walking and cycling in Exeter. The first improvements being introduced by Devon County Council are along Ludwell Lane, Dryden Road and Wonford Road, where point closures are being installed. ORGANISERS of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life events in Devon regret to announce the much-loved events are cancelled for 2020.
The charity has taken the difficult decision to withdraw all 400 Race for Life events across the UK this year to protect the country’s health as restrictions on mass gatherings caused by the COVID-19 pandemic continue.
This includes the Race for Life 5K and 10K at Plymouth, Barnstaple, Exeter planned for later this year, is now cancelled. Participants who have already signed up will be contacted directly by the charity.
