Exeter's highly successful staging of the Rugby World Cup 2015 in the city last year has been recognised at an award ceremony.
The City's hosting of RWC2015 won the Event award at the Exeter Living Awards last night (14 April), as well as the Platinum Award for the strongest category winner.
The Royal Albert Memorial Museum was shortlisted in the Arts category and the Leisure & Tourism category, which were won by The Bike Shed Theatre and Exeter Street Food.

Exeter’s Fanzone is open this weekend for the Rugby World Cup 2015 semi final matches.
As well as live coverage of the games, there's a jam-packed entertainment schedule and the best local food and drink all... all in Northernhay Gardens in the city centre.
The schedule is as follows:
Saturday 24th October - Open noon-7pm

Buses across Exeter have been decked out with scarves’ vinyls welcoming the visiting countries playing Rugby World Cup matches at Sandy Park.
The 50 giant scarves, designed by Storm Press, are in the colours of the five nations playing in Exeter: Tonga, Namibia, Georgia, Italy and Romania. They welcome each country in their native language. Buses will also carry scarves with the traditional ‘Come on England’ message.

Sports fans will be able to find out about Exeter's sporting history at a series of free talks starting at the weekend.
The illustrated talks have been developed by Exeter's Red Coat Guides as part of the city's Festival of Rugby celebrating this year's Rugby World Cup 2015.
