A series of special events for anyone interested in fostering will take place this month, as Devon County Council continues its drive to recruit carers. Police are appealing for information following a four-vehicle collision near Tavistock which left three people injured. The collision happened on the A386 near Grenofen around 6pm on Wednesday (27 February). A silver Ford Focus travelling towards Tavistock was in collision with a Nissan Almera and a DAF HGV travelling in the opposite direction. As a result a fourth vehicle, a black BMW also heading to Tavistock, was in collision with the Nissan Almera. A silver chalice and a silver wafer box have been returned to the church from where they were stolen at the end of January 2013. The theft happened between 20 and 24 January at the Church of St Michaels & All Angels in Otterton, East Devon. Two other chalices, a Grimaldi and a Philips, were also stolen from the vestry at the time and these have yet to be recovered. The returned chalices were left in Colaton Raleigh church sometime before 23 February 2013. IoD Director General Simon Walker visited the new offices where he met regional IoD representatives including South West Chairman Richard Ayre, South West Director Simon Face and regional staff, along with the Bristol & Bath Science Park’s chief executive Bonnie Dean.
