Lloyds bank appoints new head of property
Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has announced the appointment of Glen Wilson as Head of Property for small and medium sized enterprises, leading the bank’s support for this important and growing sector within the emerging British economy.
As part of his new role as the sector’s national head, Glen will oversee the bank’s relationships with property businesses with annual turnovers of up to £25million, offering a wealth of financial expertise, funding and guidance for those companies with ambitions to grow.
He moves from his role as Head of Mortgage Quality and Change at Halifax, where he was responsible for the conduct risk agenda across 850 colleagues with annual lending of £6billion.
This followed a previous role with Lloyds Bank’s retail banking arm, where he was Senior Manager of Retail Conduct Risk Portfolios. He brings 18 years’ of industry experience, gained following his time as a professional rugby player with Doncaster Knights.
Glen will be based at the bank’s Cavendish Place offices in Central London, and his appointment further underpins the bank’s commitment to supporting the property sector, and helping clients to deliver and secure new property developments across the country.
