Exeter based artist GRICE to perform for a good cause
If you would like to hear some acoustic rock tunes, all in aid of a good cause, then you need to pay a visit to St Stephens chuch on Saturday 14th December.
Exeter based artist GRICE and his five piece band will be performing at the church as part of the start of their tour. The tour will see GRICE performing at selected chuches and small venues around the Southwest, Bristol and London.
Listeners will get to hear GRICE's album for the first time in its entirety, meaning this is an event not to be missed.
This saturday they will be performing to help raise vital funds for The Stroke Association.
The charity, is a charity which is close his heart. GRICE's father, C J Peters (DFM), who was in the RAF during WWII, suffered a stroke in later life which affected his speech and his ability to work as a fine artist.
St Stephens Church is a historic venue dating back to the Domesday and one of the only buildings left standing following the devastating blitz of 1942.
Amy McKay, Regional Fundraiser for the Stroke Association said:
“This gig is a unique opportunity to see an up and coming artist which music lovers can’t afford to miss."
“Bring along your mates too. We are a charity which relies on fundraising events like this to continue our vital work of supporting thousands of stroke survivors and their families in the South West and across the UK.”
Doors open at 8pm - cost £5 - proceeds from the event will be donated to the Stroke Association.
