Eight community groups faced up to a panel of critical ‘dragons’ and an audience of local people at the Beehive in Honiton on 29 May 2019 to win a share of a funding ‘pot’ of £5,000 given by East Devon District Council, Devon County Council and Honiton Town Council. The Pinhoe & Broad Clyst Friends of Hospice has become the latest recipient of a charity donation from the Barratt and David Wilson Homes Community Fund.

The Fund donates £1,000 each month to a charity or organisation and the new scheme is part of the company’s pledge to strengthen its ties with the areas in which it is building new homes.

Impact for Change charity fun row!

Each year Impact for Change nominates a charity of the year. 2018-2019 Impact for Change supported the Amber Foundation, a local charity that supports young adults who are homeless, vulnerable or at risk.

Last weekend Impact for Change completed over a 9 mile canoe from Exeter to Exmouth.

This saw 19 people, aged between 11-67 hit the water and paddle like proffessionals!

This event was supported and overseen by Haven Banks, who made the day possible and kept everyone safe. It was a beautiful day and an awesome event together we raised £1070 for this amazing charity...
