Man arrested after alleged indecent exposure and stalking incidents in Exeter

Police are appealing for information after receiving reports of alleged stalking and indecent exposure at Flowerpot playing fields in Exeter.

Officers are investigating a number of complaints from members of the public during March and April.

Anyone who has witnessed any suspicious activity in the area has been urged to come forward.

A 39-year-old man from the Exeter area has been arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency and harassment and has been released under investigation.

Devon Air Ambulance starts carrying freeze-dried plasma

From this week, Devon Air Ambulance can provide its patients with an additional life-saving treatment. This wasn't previously available in Devon until the patient arrives at a hospital’s Emergency Department; the administration of blood plasma.

Libraries Unlimited, the charity responsible for running Devon and Torbay libraries, has welcomed two new independent trustees to its Board.

Sarah O’Brien, External Affairs Advisor at the National Trust and IT and publishing sector specialist George Lossius were appointed to the Board of trustees this month. They join a number of independent trustees as well as both staff and community trustees who set the strategic direction for Devon and Torbay libraries.

A third (33%) of UK adults admit they’ve not checked if the engineer working on their home’s gas appliances is doing so legally by being on the Gas Safe Register, according to the latest research findings by the Government’s official gas registration body.

The findings come as the Gas Safe Register nears completing 2,000 illegal gas work investigations in three years, more than two thirds of which (69%) were found to be unsafe meaning the people living in the properties investigated were in potential danger from faulty gas work.

On Wednesday 1st May thousands of mums will take part in The Big Breastfeeding Café and mums in Devon will be joining the fun.
