Festive crafts, gifts and food will be the flavour of the season at some National Trust properties in Devon. This November and December there is a programme of festive craft and food fairs to help prepare for the season. The historical houses will be the backdrop for a series of events that will showcase some of the best local food, drink, arts and crafts. Killerton, near Exeter, has been transformed for Christmas, with The Snow Queen and Father Christmas arriving to begin the festive celebrations. The house will be open from Saturday 24 November and will transport visitors into Hans Christian Andersen’s mystical world of The Snow Queen.
