LOVE Devon’s Walk for Widecombe raises over £5,100 for Widecombe Village Hall fund

The LOVE Devon Walk for Widecombe fundraising event has raised over £5,100 for the Widecombe Village Hall fund after its successful fundraising event in September. More than £4,300 has been raised so far and the total is set to increase further with the addition of gift aid, which is expected to bring the amount to over £5,100.

Businesses in Ottery St Mary are taking part in a ‘Golden Ticket’ event – giving out free money vouchers to customers to spend in the town.

Customers making purchases in participating businesses have the chance to win a golden ticket, worth between £1 and £50. There is one £50 ticket somewhere in the town on each of the special days.
