Sandy Park's Spring Wedding Fair, in partnership with Debenhams and the Bridal House of Cornwall, will take place on Sunday, 12th May 2019.

The Fair will be open between 10.00am and 2.00pm and brides-to-be can be inspired by some of the South West's best wedding suppliers who will be on hand to offer friendly, specialist advice on everything to make a Big Day special.

For couples still on the lookout for venue inspiration, Sandy Park's Chiefs Suite will be decorated to provide some ideas for a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast.

Tag-Tastic! CLC Tag Rugby kicks off

Soggy skies did not dampen enthusiastic sporting spirits on Friday 9th November, when QE welcomed over 250 Year 5 & 6 students from primaries around Crediton, to their Barnfield Campus, for a highly anticipated annual Tag Rugby tournament. Last years’ winners Landscore and Tedburn, were both in attendance determined to defend their trophies.

A total of 24 teams were entered for the championship, with students from Cheriton Bishop, Winkleigh, Yeoford, Haywards, Bow, Copplestone and Sandford also taking part.

Community Interest Company, Beach Schools South West won the accolade of Best Rural Educational Business at the prestigious finals event held by the Rural Business Awards at Bath Racecourse.

Company Directors Tess Stuber and Alexis Bowater represented the Beach Schools South West team as they attended the event, being one of five businesses in their category to reach the finals.

Six of the Westcountry's top sporting stars will descend on Sandy Park to feature in a special 'Question of Sport' night on Thursday, 24th January.

Based around the same successful workings of the hit BBC show, the stars will have their sporting knowledge tested during a series of fun-filled rounds that will be overseen by quizmaster Mark Tyler.

Topsham Town FC hit back of the net with brand new kit

Topsham Town FC has kicked off the new season in style thanks to a donation from a national housebuilder.

Bloor Homes, which is building its Seabrook Orchards development in Topsham, gifted the club £500 to replace the first team’s five-year old home strip with a brand new yellow and blue kit.

The first team, which plays in the Devon and Exeter Premier League, is predominantly funded through memberships and was keen to purchase a new home kit, as the old one was starting to show noticeable signs of wear and tear.

Princesshay and Reiss hosted an exclusive VIP event on Thursday night for regional media and bloggers to celebrate the start of Christmas in Exeter. The event included an evening of fashion, beauty, fizz and canapes courtesy of Lloyd’s Lounge, along with a festive styling session from Reiss’ store manager, Helena Paterson. A group of young wheelchair users from an Exeter-based youth club run by the young disabled people’s charity Whizz-Kidz have celebrated completing a year of activities tackling youth loneliness. The group marked the occasion by taking part in a lively amateur dramatics workshop about the jungle at St Luke’s Sports and Science College, Exeter, on Saturday 10 November 2018.
